Silly Isaac Story
Isaac has been talking about my mom a lot lately. I don't know why. Sometimes I like it and sometimes it just annoys me. He is a sweetheart and I know he has good intentions. We were leaving the house this morning to go to the grocery store and Isaac yelled "MOM, MOM, COME FAST!". I rushed over thinking Ben had gotten outside and something was wrong. He found a card taped to the door. He said, "look, mom... Grandma Suzy sent you a card". So I opened it and read it. It was a thank you card for a funeral I sang at last week. I tried explaining that Grandma Suzy doesn't live here anymore and that she was not the one to leave the card. I should have just let him believe it and ended it right there. Then he argued back saying, "Yah huh, then what about the flowers?" There were some new flowers growing on the bush outside our door. It was so sweet how he innocently believed that this was all because Grandma Suzy was thinking about us and wanted to give us a card and some flowers. I just hugged him so tight and started crying. He said "sorry I made your feeling owie mom." It made me so thankful for him and realize that I am doing a good job of not letting him forget mom. He's a little worm, but I love him so much. Love you guys.

He is so cute! I love a little boy in a suit and I love experiencing "innocent" moments with little kids.
That's really sweet!
You should have called that post "sweet Isaac story." That's the cutest thing I've ever heard. I'm sure your mom is watching over you, and who knows, maybe she did help those flowers along. :)
