Family Fun/ Visit from Aunt Barb

This weekend was full of laughs and tears! My mothers sister (Aunt Barb) and her husband and my mom's dad all came down to visit! Yay for family time. We haven't seen them since the funeral. I didn't realize how much I missed them. It was really hard to see them and have them around without my mom. It made me miss her more. It was such a great weekend though. I posted all these picture for Katie and my dad, i know there's a ton. Sorry to all those who will get bored with the pics.

We went to the cemetery to visit my mom's grave. It was the first time Aunt Barb and grandpa had been there since the funeral. These are the flowers we left. Thanks Randy for helping me get the headstone looking so nice.

Mine and Becca's kids took over the cemetery. Grandma Suzy would gave gotten a laugh out of that! She loved watching them run and play. I always think of how she would be with them, now that they're bigger and able to play and talk back, LOL. She loved holding them when they were tiny and sleeping though, that's for sure. She would always say "this must be what heaven's like" when she would hold one of our sleeping babies.

After the cemetery, we all went back to Ray's house for some dinner. Becca made the best lasagna. We always have her do the cooking. My mother taught her well! Here are three of my mom's four kids with Aunt Barb. Katie is living in Saint George, Utah.

It was such a good weekend. It was great to know that they still remember us and think of us, even with my mom gone. It was hard to not have her there. She loved seeing her sisters and she definitely loves the grand kids. I know it will be a long time until we see Aunt Barb and grandpa again. I just feel so thankful to have family that loves each other so much, even if they do live so far away from us. Love you guys!
