Happy Halloween to everyone!!! I miss my family, all of you! We had a wonderful Halloween! The boys were so excited. I helped out in Isaac's classroom on Friday for the Halloween party. It was fun. These first few pictures are of the boys at Papa Randy's house carving pumpkins. We had a fun little pizza party, and carved a "pumpkin family".
Isaac saying "cheeseburger"!!!
Isaac wanted to be a ghost for Halloween. I honestly didn't like the idea. Growing up, we never really celebrated the scary part of Halloween. I was never a ghost, or a witch, or a skeleton. He was so excited to scare everyone. My mom-in-law did his make-up, which was way more than what I wanted. But, he loved it and he was definitely the scariest ghost around!! Benny wanted to be The Cat in The Hat and the costume turned out ADORABLE!!! Thanks to auntie Missy for the awesome hat.
Isaac saying "BOOOOO"
so cute!!
Here's Tom. He decided to go as an angel. So i decided to be a devil. Once again, I was definitely out of my comfort zone. Nobody could understand why. I just simply said "Why would i want to dress up and pretend to be the devil?" I know it's all in good fun, and i shouldn't be so strict about it. At least we wore costumes that went together. I would have much rather been the angel, lol.

So... all in all, it was a great Halloween and we had so much fun. I'm pretty sure this is the first year since Isaac has been born that we haven't done something fun and celebrated together on the Guthrie side. It is sad. It just made me realize that we are not going to be as close as we used to be. It is getting harder and harder to get together and I am definitely having to make more of an effort to stay in contact with everyone. I now have siblings in Utah, Texas, and Maryland, and a dad in New York. I'm not saying this to make anyone feel bad. Just simply saying that we are all grown up, and life happens, ya know! I love you guys and hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween.
