We blessed Malachi on October 14th 2012. We had most of the family there. We missed Tom's sister, Sarah, and her family. They were unable to make it from California. We also missed Papa Randy and Nama Dena, they were out of town. My dad was able to fly in from Colorado and it was so great to have him there. It was a very special day.
Here's most of the family that came. There were a few people that jetted after the meeting before we could catch them :-)
Here's my sweet little family. I'm huge, i know. But I still love this picture too much not to share it. I will get back down, don't worry.
My sweet baby boy :-) He is two months old here.
My mom knitted me this baby blanket and finished it about 5 days before she died. She made it for the baby I was pregnant with at the time. Since she obviously couldn't make one for Malachi, I thought it would be perfect to use for him. She also bought the booties for Isaac's baby blessing, so I reused those as well. It was very special to have my mom be a part of the blessing. I have had a hard time missing her since Malachi's birth. She would love Malachi so much. I know she would just adore his big eyes and crazy hair. She would be such a proud grandma :-)
After church, we got together for dinner. Katie was nice enough to let us use her house. Mine is just too little for such a huge family. Here is Aunt Becca feeding Malachi.
Here is Tom and my dad. I was so so glad to have my dad here. Hopefully their house in CO will sell soon and we can see a lot more of them. It was a great weekend and I loved being surrounded by all my family.
